Brighton Roll Call

I'm there. Looking at the ticket it appears that we're approximately three miles from the pitch behind the goal. I could have sworn that we were along the side of the pitch last time I went there.

Indeed we are...

Our stand is actually located in bournemouth so I would bring your bins.

Up a tree

I was contemplating coming down and shinning up a tree to watch it, as quite a few people seem to do.

Not paying £20 to go to that excuse of a stadium.

Vowed never to return after 1-0 defeat in last minute to handball goal.

I couldn't afford £22.50 to sit in a temporary stand, 50 yards from the pitch and at a slight angle.

I'm going, kind of - will have a few drinks in the pub hopefully then if it's nice, head down the beach with more beers to listen to the game :)

There aren't really any pubs around The Withdean so I guess we would need to go into town and then get a train back up to Preston Park (just one stop/5 mins from Brighton) for the game.

what pubs do u recommend dave?

The town is full of good pubs. If you want to drink easily there are a few good ones right by the station. The Railway Belle. King and Queen etc etc they are a bit crap but as TBITPS said 5 mins from Preston Park.

I suspect we will be in one of those.

Is it not sold out? I assumed it was and didn't even contemplate it but I can get there in about an hour from here by train so it's one of my easier ones.
