Brian Wheeler - soon to be free as a bird

CC51DAS

President
Anyone know if Saturday is Brian's last match as maitre D or will he be doing the home play-off too ?

Even if he is a scummy hamster , in my book he deserves a rousing send off - 3 cheers would seem appropriate .

Didnt even know he was leaving - does this mean the job of commercial manager is going to become available shortly? :)

Apparently , Brian is off to Cyprus , although with all the posters going round the world lately I thought he might have been going to Tibet .

Not sure if there is a vacancy though .

For those of us who missed the announcement, where has Brian's replacement come from? And does anyone know if he's a fan of the club!?

Gotta love Brian though. I don't think many would do the comical side of things during a League match, ala today with the subs farce etc! Will be odd without him doing the announcing.

Didn't it used to be Holmes and McCoy on Essex Radio in the mornings? Great double act, think he'll do a good job - all the best to Brian though.

That Gavin MCoy bloke was pretty good but dissapeared from Essex FMpretty quickly. He was also the Mr Mad charachter on the Steve Wright show on Radio 1.

Peter Holmes has had a season ticket in South Upper block G this season.
Very nice chap.
He has 2 daughters. They are nice, but a bit young for me!
