Just had a phone call from Brian Wheeler saying that about 10 minutes before half-time and the end of the match Brian announces the half-time draw and the attendance and he will send a message from the East Stand to the West each time.
When he does this please respond as it should make the ground rock if everyone joins in.

It will be a chant we can all join in, to give you a hint we've been trying to get this chant going alot recently!... So make sure you join in tomorrow, you all know how it goes!...

Sorry, but I really don't think Brian Wheeler saying things over the mic is the way forward and if anything will be counter-productive.

I'm sure Brian means well, but this needs to be a terrace led initiative. Someone coming over a crackly loudspeaker, sorry state of the art sound system, is NOT what we need.

Brian is the wrong guy, and the sound system is the wrong tool. It will just sound naff and won't carry on once the mic has been switched off. Its not a case of getting in that bloke who use to do the pre-match entertainment who managed to **** everyone off by charging for charity work either.

What we need is people in the crowd to start songs off and try and keep them going longer than one rendition. When a song starts to fade don't be quiet, be a leader and sing louder to encourage it to continue.

There are loads of good initiatives going on with Blue Voice and I'm 100% behind the aims of it, but Brian Wheeler urging the crowd on is ****.

If thats the case then "Blue voice" should try to locate somewhere else.

No point in them being in a place that already sings after all.
