Brentford pubs

I've been to the four corner pubs on several occasions, but only for rugby league rather than football matches.

Obviously, there's no such thing as home/away pubs when the rugby is on, but does anyone know if any of the four are no-go for away fans at the football?

As for the pubs, my memory of them is:

The Griffin - very pleasant Fuller's pub, plenty of good beers, Sky TV, dartboard. Lovely beer garden, although that's unlikely to get much use tomorrow!

The Royal Oak - quite a pokey little pub. Got pool table and a dartboard though.

The New Inn - Irish pub, home of a Celtic Supporters Club. San Miguel on tap, pool table, dart board, Sky TV

Princess Royal - big-ish pub, a bit down at heel nowadays. Pool table and Sky.

If it's not a no-go area for people wearing dark blue, I'll be going for The Griffin.

Should of put this on a bit earlier but still, My pal owns Cristalz wine bar in Twickenham and will be doing a £1.50 a drink all day on Tuesday also showing Southend DVD's All SUFC fans welcome. Open from 1pm til late. The address is 29 London Road, Twickenham.

Just read that this has been re-decorated and bought by Brentford FC.

Last time I went was for the LDV southern area final game, and I went in 2 or 3 of the pubs without any problems (don't remember which though). Was wearing colours too.

However, times change. I think I'll be in neutral wear tomorrow, just to ensure I get a few drinks first.

you'll be fine in any of the pubs, but the largest away contingent is invariably in the New Inn (on Ealing Road).

Cheers tr0ublegum - that was always the most popular pub with away fans for rugby league games, so it makes sense.
