see his point though - anything less than 6500 would be a disappointment I guess from where he is sitting - would have achieved that and then some if we had beaten the mighty Morecombe but we didn't lose so six and a half to seven would be gettable.

That's my guess, somewhere between 6 and 7k.

He has a point though! Were all true blues, but it would look a little weird if the attendance goes back to 5,000 ish again. Lets keep it up.

I know what you mean on this. For an exile, even getting to 15-20 games a season is a very costly business.

I reckon there are around 4,500 die hard fans who will go to every game. Then there are about 2,000 or so regulars who go to most games between them, but only about half of them will be at each game, giving us our average attendance.

Then there are the 5,000 fairweather fans who only turn when the team are doing well or their are cheap tickets.

Some will lured by us doing well in league 2, more will come if we get promotion and of course we will fill the ground if we reach the championship again.

It is the same for every club, it just the numbers that are different.
