Well, hard though it was to look at, I didn't want to deny myself the pleasure of seeing Timlin's superb goal.........and it really was worth seeing. As for the rest!!! Our goal seemed to live a charmed life and I don't think I saw all their chances.
As for Dickinson, the first I think you have to give credit to good defending, which obliged him to snatch at the shot and put it over. The header near the end, it looked difficult to get real power on it but I suppose the direction could have been better..........but neither appeared as easy as some people have made out.

IIRC Grant had a good chance near the end but that wasn't shown on the highlights. Did Rob tell you that you earned a brief mention on the BP commentary on Monday..........commented on it in the OMT, you didn't get a post-match interview! You didn't fancy making any remarks concerning the match on the Report & Ratings thread? I suppose you're back to work, so not staying on for Port Vale?

I met up with BBC Essex's Mark Babbage before the game.Nice bloke.We had a little chat as you do.
Had no idea you were over too,otherwise I'd have arranged something.By the time I saw the R and R thread,last night, most of what needed to be said had been said already.especially well by ESB and James the Super-Blue(IMO).
Back in Barna so will be listening in to the PV game.
