Bournemouth Predictions

Bromley Blue

Ok people, as its only a day until the mighty shrimpers visit my current neck of the woods what are our predictions in terms of score team, attendance etc.

For me:

Flavs

Juppy
The Sod
Barrett
Che

Marky G
Maher
Gutts
Bradders

Goat
Freddy

I've been to see Bournemouth a few times this season and I reckon Sodje will mark big Fletch up front with AB on Hayter. They like to get the ball down and pass on the deck like us so it should be a good game. I reckon Bournemouth will score so I'll go 2-1 to us.Goat and Gower getting our goals and Hayter for them.

Apart from us and Forest (13 goals conceded), Bournemouth have the best home defensive record (14 against) in the Division. They don't score that many either, though.

I think 0-0, and I'll settle for that.

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST.
Let's hope so. I usually prpepare myself for a 1-0 or 2-0 loss against bournemouth. Hope the lads will prove me wrong.

Last few cherries matches I've been to at Dean Court this season have been awful, if we're going to win here then now's the time to do it. I'm feeling optimistic about this one. 3-1 to the mighty Shrimpers with Freedy, the Goat & Gower on the scoresheet for us.

we're doomed, 2-1 defeat

Daryll 'The Flying Leprechaun' Flahaven

Duncan 'Courageous' Jupp
Adam 'The Perm' Barrett
Efe 'The Wall' Sodje
Che 'Dedication' Wilson

Mark 'The Power' Gower
Kevin 'Marvel' Maher
Luke 'Walking Yellow' Gutteridge
Lee 'The Destroyer' Bradbury

Freddy 'The Rocket' Eastwood
Shaun 'Feed The Goat' Goater

Going for 2-0. Freddy double.

Yeah I've been to a couple of cherries games this season, Swansea and Gillingham home games. Swansea beat em n showed why theyre one of the best sides in the division (at least at the time) and Gillingham game..Bournemouth won but didn't play that well. We'd have to play poorly not to get a result I reckon. I'm going for a 2-1 win to Blues.

I have never seen us do well at Boure-Muff but I think Freddy will prove to good on the day....Will go for a 2-1 win

that cup game - the replay!! the first half we played some superb stuff!! lets face it the team has changed now and management has changed, so i am not a firm believer in records at other grounds. we have the best away record in the league and are the form team so we shouldn't fear anyone. the front 2 are in good nick and there is no reason we can't take 3 points. obviously we have to be on guard, hayter has got some talent and fletcher is always a threat! i think 2-1 is a good call. however 0-0 1-1 look good with both team's defensive records. but i am going for more goals.... 3-1 or 3-2 to the blues!!

Thinking about the squad tomorrow and I reckon that, given the crucial stage of the season, Tilly may be tempted to put Joe Welch on the subs bench.

Thoughts?

How's he been doing in the stiffs?

We haven't beaten Bournemouth since 1982, to be fair, both clubs keep swapping division in the last 24 years.

Cant believe some of these predictions. I could understand if we were 4 years in the past but we're top of league 1 not bottom and the year is 2006 incase some have forgotten!

Oh yes indeedy..!!  but im going for a sneaky 1-1
Bournemouth's last 8 home games:

Won 2 Drawn 4 Lost 2.

Sadly, I fear that Upminster has the right of it. A draw would be a good result I think.
