After the original game was abandoned due to fog, we travel for a second time to Lincolnshire this season to face a Pilgrims side, under the management of our former player and assistant manager Graeme Coughlan, in far better form than they were at the time of the aborted match.
It's worth reflecting on the whole National League form table (last 10 games) at this point as it puts into perspective how tricky this game could be compared to the others in our run in. Who'd have thought at Christmas that the three form teams in our last 7 games would be Boston, Braintree and Wealdstone and the teams most out of form (Ebbsfleet aside) would be Gateshead, Solihull and Sutton. As Greavsie used to say "it's a funny old game"!

Thankfully Boston's form came down to earth with a bump with a 4-1 defeat at Hartlepool on Saturday, this was their 4th consecutive away fixture and they won the previous three at promotion chasing Rochdale, in-form Braintree and Yeovil Town. Prior to that they had a couple of home draws with Woking and Oldham. They currently sit second from bottom in the league, but recent results show that Cougho has got his men fighting, as you would expect him to.
Kev was forced into a change on Saturday with Captain Nathan Ralph having to drop out due to a back issue. Let's hope it's nothing serious as we look a better side with him in it. Leon Chambers-Parillon was nowhere near as effective on Saturday as he has been in previous games and Noor Husin was again not too impressive - one can therefore see a bit of squad rotation happening on Tuesday with recalls for Miley and perhaps Bridge. We missed Charley Kendall's energy in the second half too so maybe he'll get a start on Tuesday night.
Let's hope the fog stays away this time, if it does then who would you choose to start and what do you think the result will be?
