Ok, not the coolest thread title.

My time as a Bachelor looks to me drawing to a close. I have amassed a collection of random stuff that i either no longer need or cannot be bothered to pack up and move.

So, im going old school, and gonna see if others want the stuff i dont.

Now there is a bootsale literally in my back garden (roots hall) but do any zoners know of any others that are shall we say, bigger?

There used to be mean ones at both Asda and Cecil Jones but dont seem to be there any more.

There is a huge one at Saddlers farm which causes traffic chaos.

I think it starts very early and it looks the sort of place where punters probably come to blows when chasing that elusive bargain.

I got there to sell once at half 7 and only just got a place.

The annoying thing is as soon as you park, someone comes up to you and asks if you have any jewellery or mobile phones. No!

Seriously the one at Rettendon is worth a go, starts at 11 on satuuday and sunday (sunday was busier), get there for about half 10 and you're laughing.

Depends. Generally old toot. One in Hackney is extremely dodgy selling moody CD's, DVD's and software.

Nevendon is normally quite a good shout, made loads last time i did one there. Just off A127 at Bas vegas turn off.

we picked up a very good pram from a BF in Leics for 50 nicker, the pram would have cost 300 new- nothing wrong, just not wanted.

No major crooks at the ones I go to, which tend to be in Kent villages. Sometimes you pick up a good bargain, often you don't.

Always do one at the beginning of the summer (May BH weekend) at Sadlers and one at the end of August, either Sadlers or Nevendon. The buyers at Nevendon are a bit more picky but it's a better venue - hard paths, decent (ish) loos, clothes racks for hire etc. Sadlers can be hard work depending on the weather. Clothes and books tend to go better at Nevendon, but anything electrical or furniture goes well at Sadlers. Bikes, decent kids' toys, phones and jewellery are the big attractions and go very quickly.

Best advice is to research as much as you can beforehand (ebay's quite useful), have an idea of what you want for your stuff, ask a bit more and be prepared to be bartered down so you can settle on what you wanted in the first place. Take loads of deep sea divers and £ coins. Any more advice, please feel free to PM. Happy to help - been doing them a while now and usually make about £400 a year, the kids get the money for their goods, I get their rooms tidied so everyone's happy!
