Blues World This Tuesday

McScriven

The Ball Boy
Guys,

For Tuesday's LDV Match BBC Essex aren't covering the game (lack of budget apparently) so for our Blues World commentry we will be getting a feed from Northampton's CobblersWorld.

Sorry if it's a tad biased but it's for reasons out of our control.

I'll post something on the official site tomorrow as well.

No, BBC Essex supplies the commentry as they have the expensive equipment needed.

Some clubs do their own commentry as they decided to do so when Blues World (or their equivalent) came about, like Northampton, but being one man I've got to do the match report and probably film the game as well. Think doing the commentry might be a bit much as well.

You never used to be that slack when TBM's were about. Must be getting old and settled.

Does anyone know if BBC Northamptonshire Radio (sic) are covering the game ?

Just thought I'd bump this back to the first page, just in case anybody wanting to listen in tonight didn't see this post before.

This does seem a bit out of order don't you think?

I think that is appalling that BBC Essex aint covering the game, I regulary listen to their commentary on away matches and am grateful for them but surely they should be covering every match. I'm sure they did last season.

If you have Blues World, you can listen in to the Cobblers coverage. Like Scriv says... not ideal... but something at least.

I'll be in the chat room (amongst others, I'm sure) and I'll be listening to a load of Cobblers.

I know, its not as if anyone listens to BBC Essex for anything else

The missus had a great row over e-mail with Glenn Speller today.

Saying why are BBC Essex wasting all their budget covering Wet Spam.

She got nowhere of course.

Mind you I think it was the comment about Robin Chipperfield being much better that really put the boot in.

It is actually quite fun listening to the oppo commentry as i have just learnt about Bramble occasionally playing at the back.
