Blues Lottery

Why have a Lottery when the winner may not be paid. Maybe we can't afford to pay anyone to run it. Who knows what's going on down there.

Just another sign that things are dire at our club, I'm afraid.

I've never signed up for the Blues lottery, do you pay in advance monthly or yearly?

I signed up and got the discount off the season ticket (was it £25?) and they have never taken any money for the Lottery. I think it was a monthly payment. Probably not been entered into any of the draws, but by the sounds of it there havn't been any.

Does anyone know anyone who has won something ?

Thinking of cancelling mine. Wonder how many Zoners 'play' ?

I play, have done for a couple of years. Never won nowt tho. To be honest, it's 8.66 a month, and supposedly towards the Youth Team. This in itself makes me feel like I'm helping just a little every month. Especially when you see, Crawford, O'Keefe, Herd and Moussa in the team, and probably a damn sight more this season!!

If I actually won something it would be a bonus, that said I guess there actually needs to be a draw for me to be in with a chance of winning!!

Blue_Wes you show a very nice attitude to help your club, and we all realise that more than ever before that the youth players may be more involved this coming season, probably long before they should be. But if the club is taking the money without doing the draws, it is clearly wrong and very underhand.
The rule of all legalized gambling is that 'If you can't win, you can't lose', and your stake money should be refunded immediately. If you then wanted to donate it back to the club to help with the youth development or anything else, that would be great.

Yes Ive won as well, last game of the season before last meal for 2 in the blues lounge and once before when it very first started - a bag of goodies if you can call stickers a 'on the road to the championship' and a dvd that wasn't in any sleeve or box that it didn't play , goodies.

I won a years subscription to the matchday programme a few months back.

Non too bothered as I don't usually get programmes.

The first one (Derby friendly) came on tuesday......

Have won a shirt and a ball over the past 2 years but, I have now withdrawn from it especially when they promised some great prizes and never delivered on them. The final crunch came for me when I saw that 1st prize was a 100 club card points. Now I know you can convert them and have money deducted from a season card but 100 points come on!

Hi Tinks. What is a 100 club card points worth in cash?
