does anyone use this forum who remembers me. My name is Keith mcghie and I moved to Scotland in 1981 but continued to follow the blues for a few years until other commitments made it impossible. Last game I saw was the Bury promotion game. Thanks to the internet I keep up to date and as there seems a good link between Motherwell FC and the BLUES THAT HAS HELPED ALTHOUGH THE TRANSFERS are all the one way. I received a trophy before the Lincoln game in 1981 from my mates in the North bank for supporter of the year.

I remember you Keith. You always (or nearly always) used to hitch-hike to games. One I can remember you definitely hitched to was York away, in the freezing cold in about 1979 or '80, and standing with you at Bootham Crescent.

You were always in the North Bank for home games. I also think, maybe incorrectly, that you went to Fairfax High?

Hi Keith, Ian Holmes here! i remember you well. You were one of the hard core of fans that travelled away in those days. I seem to recall only about 20 of us at Doncaster one Tuesday night. We met you at the station as I recall. Good to hear that you are still following our fortunes. When Motherwell were doing really well a while back I wondered if you were still an avid fan. All the best

Welcome onboard Keith. Don't suppose you ever knew John Welham did you?

Shame you arent still down here to stop Wiggy winning that every year....

Couldnt have a word with Scott McDonald could you and convince him to sign tomorrow ?

Hi Keith, don't know you & never met you but nice to know there's a fellow Lanarkshire Shrimper!
Moved up in 2000, still follow the boys when I can (training it down to Sunderland in a couple of weeks - trying to convince a couple of my mates there's more to life than the Old-Firm!)

All the best,
Richard
