I've got my first impressive player.
My 19yo 202cm tall lock now has impressive jumping.

Don't worry - a team full of strongs should hold it's own against a few impressives and princelys.
I only got my first impressive this season and following that they seem to come thick and fast and I now have about 6 or 7 players with a skill at impressive.
I don't know whether the balanced team or a few superstars is better, but I was quite pleased to beat Jimlav's team in the league (he's the England U20 coach). I'm currently top of my league in II although I've got a tough game coming up this weekend (the only team I've lost to in the league this season).
By the way YB - I've challenged you to a friendly if you fancy it?
I was just going to play my reserves - give them a run out. I lost my league game so I thought I'd drop them all and make sure they really are all at their peak fitness-wise.
I had a chat with some people in the know and they told me to use expansive as my backs are strong. I tried it and lost both games. Back to default for me!!Like MrB I don't really understand the tactical side of things that much - whenever I tinker with it I seem to do much worse so tend to keep it at the default settings.
Matt, can't access BR on the phone, can you let me know how badly I did in the play offs please?
Cheers, at least I deserved to lose this season!
Probably a good thing, am restructuring and training new players as have 3 30k plus players and think wages will be an issue next season. Cut their training right back and trying to focus on the pack as I think that's what is costing us games. With team training I think some teams will be caught out by the fact that their top earners will keep getting better and more expensive regardless of their individual training. Was tempted to keep netting Hughes but reckon he'll lose his place in the England team next season.
Also sold my Level 4 facilities as was spiralling into debt. Simply not sustainable at this stage.
