bizarre stats

Just to give further evidence that categorical statements are never as cut and dry as they seem:

- The only team conceding fewer home goals than us in League One is top of the league.
- The only two teams conceding more away goals than us in League One fill the bottom two positions.

The only logical conclusion to draw here is that our home support for defensive players is incredible. Well done us.

Further to this I reckon it would be worth sending Paul Brush on a mission to watch Stockport as they've only conceded 6 goals away from home this season.

Interesting isn't it how we can be so "good" defensively at home and yet so "poor" away?!

because we don't change our style away from home ?

if other teams come to RH more defensively minded they will attack less and therefore put our defense under pressure, If we go away with the same mentality as at home will will attack , with the opposition attacking , as they are at home, it would leave our defence greatly exposed.

This may well also go some way to explaining our lack of 0-0 draws as , when we have a full set of strikers available, we always look like scoring and we do not play a defensive formation away from home

But we've scored more away I think

Which would be down to teams attacking more at home leaving themselves vunerable to an attacking side. if teams were come to RH in a more attacking formation they would certainly score more, but so may we...

Vive La Defence. Now can the critics get off their backs for once.

Away tactics at Leicester were bold to say the least and maybe T & B work on the principal of two wins are better than 5 draws ?

Why should people get off their backs becasue of that stat??? ok people shouldnt get on their backs in the first place but all that statistic shows is that as a defense playing away from home we simply aren't good enough or strong enough. We are good at home but that is because home teams should be stronger and we have always had a good home record under tilson. We just need that extra bit of experience, height and strength at the moment to sure up our defense away from home. If we could sort that record out there is no reason why we cant get into the playoffs
