Bilel knows he must improve discipline

3rd time in a month he's publicly been dressed down about this...

I think it is smart man management, particularly given how popular he is amongst the fans. The Club are sensibly positioning this situation completely in the hands of Bil, and leaving the solution for him to deliver, but with their support available. As such, they are making the fans fully aware of their stance, that they won't tolerate this kind of behaviour (refreshing in the current climate, and especially with the level of influence Bil may have over the younger fans), but as such, want to be seen and in fairness are acting with the right morals for the good of the Club and equally importantly, the player.

Bil is a terrific lad, he recognises, acknowledges and also says hello to me and my Son every time, which for my lad, is wonderful, but equally, if Bil is going to have this much influence on and off the pitch, he needs to bring his behaviour in line.

As I have messaged here recently, one of the Senior Pro's told me at a pre-season friendly that Bil had absolutely everything at his feet; a great career, success, opportunity at a far higher level, and the financial rewards which come with that (remember, it is their career and security they play for, not just the Club and badge), but ONLY, if he can kerb his temper.

I will him the very best, and feel that (as fans), even we have a responsibility (where possible) to help Bil. If he can over come this situation, it will be a win for the Club, a win for the Fans, and a win for Bil (in the long run).

Good luck to him.

Perhaps they should enlist a counsellor to talk to him, Roy McDonough maybe!!

Think Bilel is in the last chance saloon with the management.

I think he is worth too much to the Club, but ONLY if he can short himself out. PS (I feel), has both a test of his football management skills here, AND will have his commercial awareness hat on, with this one !

this is not bilels last chance just yet another warning as to calm down at the right times, if he totally takes away most of the agression from his play he wont be the same player as sturrock will know this more than anyone, its the stupid yellows and reds that need to go as it lets his team mates down, its a matter of controlling the agression at times which will come with experiance.

yep you got that one right, he is worth a fair bit to the club at the moment and is a investment that will pay off when the time is right, hopefully when we get out of this pooooop league.

I would love to see every time Mohsni gets in a temper on the pitch every Southend fan to just shout in unison "CALM DOWN MOHSNI".

Are you saying he needs cutting down to size:unsure:? I know he's a tall fella but I'd rather keep him that way:smile:.
