Just heard on BBC Essex that the landord of the Exhibition pub in Wakering won £80000 (eighty thousand) on Southend winning League 1. Anybody beat that? All down the Exhibition tonight then!!.

Heard a rumour that someone picked out Chelsea, Reading, Col Ewe and Carlisle to win their leagues and would have won a failry large sum (high 6 figure sum) had it come in. This chap, around Jan/Feb went into the bookies and suggested they bought it back off him! They did and paided £80,000 for it. The punder did pretty well in the end!
