Question Biggest clubs in the NL - Where do SUFC sit?

GNH

Fish House Ultras⭐
Found this new upload on YouTube from a neutral non-league fan.

Some interesting thoughts and inclusions in his Top 10, with of course an expected mention for us.

What are your thoughts on our position in this list?

Thought the inclusion of phoenix/reformed clubs and then including those past achievements a bit bizarre.
Bury's a bit of a weird case to the point you could argue it is the original club. Steve Dale sold Bury's ground, memrobilia and even the name "Bury FC" to a group of fans (these aren't the same fans that set up the Bury AFC phoenix club, although the two ended up merging a couple of years ago). The fans bought so much off Dale that he had to rename the original club to "CCFB Realisations" (which was quickly liquidated since there was nothing of worth left).

I'd argue the fan continuation basically is the original Bury, just under a different company so that they didn't have to deal with all the debt Dale accumulated.

Funny enough I watched the same video earlier this week

I would argue based on size as of today it’s between us and Oldham

However I would also argue we are number 1 if you add the factor of club potential, given our location, catchment, local road and rail networks and population

I’ve always been intrigued by the whole ‘big club’ thing. Personally I don’t think how many trophies a club has won makes them ‘big’. I mean, over the past 10 years, Leicester have won the Prem and an FA cup. Does that make them a bigger club than say Newcastle or Villa over that period? Definitely not. More successful yes, but not bigger. To me it’s more about fan base, attendances, global standing etc. Man U will always be one of the biggest clubs in the world even if they win nothing for the next 50 years.

So in my opinion, We are probably the ‘biggest’ club in the NL, although Oldham would have an argument about that. Either way we’re the top 2 by far.

Oldham on past achievement form me.

If it was on current fanbase and loyal following us by a country mile, especially considering we haven't been allowed to mount a long term promotion push since we have been in this Godforsaken division.

For me you answer this question with the 3 a's Archive attendances Achievment.

Archive is history and we're near the summit on that with where Weve been and the moments Weve had.

Attendances no one comes close go errrrrr

And well wheres the highest teams in the league have reached this millennium?

Championship: us Yeovil scunthorpe

L.1: Rochdale oldham fgr Dagenham hartlepool york

So we have to be top 2
