Big Cranes.

Mad Cyril

The Fresh Prince of Belfairs⭐⭐🦐
I noticed that the view of the refinery from house has changed due to the installation of what can only be described as some **** right off massive cranes presumably for the new container port.

What are people's opinions. I think the refinery is cool because it looks like a space station at night so the cranes just add to the view as far as I am concerned.

And they will be the biggest in the world. The docking berths will be able to take two 400 metre supercargo ships each giving a capacity of six at any one time. According to a chap I recovered a couple of weeks ago back to Middlesborough, the port will be operational from June/July. The railway track laying has been on-going since early February and my source reckons that the construction side will see people in their forties through to retirement.

I like ships and cranes.

Wonder if they are looking for anyone in my line of business?

In all seriousness I wouldn't mind being a pilot on the Thames.

Anyone know what the pay is like?

Very good. In the USA it is anything from $100,000 to $400,000 a year. But unless you have been at least a 2nd Mate on a ship for the last two years then I wouldn't bother to apply.

Will do.

Anyone know if there are any decent pubs in
that part of the world?

You have The Catcracker at the top of The Manorway but I have never been in it and The Bull at the bottom of Rookery Hill in Corringham. Used to be pretty good back in the day.

I sometimes park the car for my wife. That's got to count for something.

Apparently the landlady was not too popular so the customers disappeared to The Bull. That's the rumour.
