I have recently entered a competition among a few mates where the challenge is turn an account containing only 20 pounds, into a 200 pound bank by the end of November.

The rules are very simple you can either purely trade on price, or decide to wait on the out come, but you cannot invest on top of the original 20 quid.

For those that don't bet massive amounts thought my progress might be of interest, and I will update as I go along.

My only strategy will be to become more focused on the price as the bank (hopefully!!) increases.

Bets as follows so far;

Back Montenegro to beat Kazakstan £4 @1.75 - Win 3.00

All set to go (chepstow last sunday) to be placed £2.00 @ 1.73 - win 1.48

Back Wales to beat Georgia £3 @ 1.38 - Loss 3.00

Back Spain to beat Albania £2.00 @ 1.29 - Win .58

Faroe Islands vs Portugal (Trade out on price) £18 @ 1.14 Win 2.52

Pot size 20 + 4.58
 
I've tried this sort of thing a few times, but always put all my roll on at once. Think the furthest I've got, starting with a tenner, is about £50. May give it another go. It's a dumb punting strategy, but a bit of fun.
 
Yeah I've done it too and it has never ended well (I've usually put too much on a banker that didn't pan out). I'll be interested to follow how callan does.

I'm gonna give it a go, I'm going to stay structured and go for £1 on 9 games and £1 on an acca for all the 9 games. If my pot stays above £10 that will be my system going forward. If not I will adjust the bets accordingly.
