Best result of the season?!

Listened to the match on the net and I have to say WHAT A RESULT!!!

I dont mind admiting that before the game I thought we were gonna chuck our chance away and end up in the play-off's. I really thought we were gonna wobble to the end of the season, but all credit to Tilly, Brush and the players - and also to Ron Martin who has again backed Tilly in bringing in McCormack and Gutteridge who sounded superb tonight.

So I hold my hands up, apologise and say SUFC, I will never doubt you again!

Well done lads, 3 points Saturday and lets take the title against Yeovil at home!!!

COME ON! LETS BE HAVING YOUUUUUUUU

Yeah i know what you mean,
Ifelt secretly that we would choke right at the end and make a pigs ear of what's been a great season.
Thankfully i think i can now relax.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this was THE result of the season. Forget the LDV. THIS is where our season starts.

PS ~ Last night was Spinner's 200th full appearance for Southend United. Also McCormack's goals were his first EVER in senior football. Congratulations ...

With this under our belt you get the impression we can sort of relax against Yeovil. I predict an absolute classic game with sh*t loads of goals.

Only if we beat Oxford can we begin to relax against Yeovil... and even then we probably won't be able to completely as we will still need at least a point to be promoted, even if results go our way this weekend.
