Pre-cursor to the Wii? The only game where you get sweaty by playing it!

Track & Field - the amount of joysticks I mullered due to this I'll never know!

Also, I liked the EA Olympic games, they were quality.

When my brother Rich first moved out he lived in a place which had loads of arcade machines, one of them was track and field so used to get endless free games :)

Even better playing it on a keyboard, ah the crazed key stabbing frenzy you could get into.

One of the arcades down the seafront still had the machine back in 2002 aswell, used to go down every lunchtime with a few people and spend the best part of an hour reliving our youth!

Track and Field is superb even now , up until 3 years ago when working in sunny Southend me and work mate used to spend many a lunch time playing T+F in a arcade on the front ( not sure the name ) .

Must admit though , prefer the joystick version as appossed to the buttons , as couldn't quite manage it when on player two , as i feel it favours a left hander.

Also my favourite was King of the Ring or King of the Boxers can't remember , too drw this game , little whit man with a tache' beating the craop out of any challengers to make the rise from rank 30th to 1st , the only Arcade game i know where i could spend 1 hr on it with the initial 10p ....................now thats value !!

Have to agree, Track & Field was a legendary game.

Used to play Sensible Soccer on the Amiga, and in one game managed to get every player from one of the teams sent off. My mate who I was playing against then booted the ball out of play to see what would happen next. The game promtly crashed as their was nobody left on the field of play to take the throw in.

Honourable mention must go to the first game I think I ever played which was Jet Set Willy on the ZX Spectrum

AAaaa sensible world of soccer , that bloody game is the reason for my lack of Gcse grades i'm afraid .

Spent many a school day playing that , always Barcleona with Romario and Stoichov up front , always against my pal who was Parma with Brolin and Asprilla up top , ah the battles we used to have .

please note , bunking off school is neither big nor clever , but feck me was it good fun
