Best Dave to play for Southend

We have had a few good Dave's over the years - But who was the best.

For me it was Dave Crown - My first ever football hero. Could score a goal out of nothing, cracking little player and not affraid to sport a mullett.

Can you think of any better?

If it was the hardest Dave I would say Dave Martin. Since it ain't I would go for Dave Crown as well. Many a happy Friday night was had in the 80's after he had hit the winning goal!

I don't think I've seen, personally a good Dave play for us which is quite surprising considering how many people are called Dave.

I fear that this makes my suggestion Dave Morley by default.
