Best away fans this season

what team this season to visit roots hall do you think have been the best. i think stoke have been, simply because there weren't that many of them but christ they were loud and had a few good songs, also thought wednesday were pretty good.

West Brom - one of the few sets of supporters that sat down and only stood at appropriate moments. Pleasingly enough not many of them. :D

southampton were nuts, and to be fair pompey were pretty relentless in the pre-season friendly

Best - Sunderland, i know they are a big club but considering the run they were on at the time and the distances involved i thought their numbers and vocal backing was superb

Worst - Man Utd!! 90 mins of pure silence!

not sure about the best As for the worst .... no brainer for me BRUM ... considering their home gate , position in the League etc there were pound for pound the smallest quietest sadest bunch i've seen.

If I remember rightly I saw some of the Sunderland fans throwing their shirts on the pitch at the end of the game??

You are correct :)

Niall Quinn was still the manager and it was funny to see some of their younger and ****ier fans wearing their "Quinn 'll fix it" shirts on the train down to the ground but by the end, they seemed to have gone missing

Haha I remember seeing some kid wind up his arm and try to launch it at one of the players, then realising it is made of cotton and weighs about 4 Ozs it went all of 4 foot on to someone elses head :D

Of course Man U were silent, all the glory hunters were stunned that a "tin pot" club like ours that "didn't deserve to play the likes of Man U" were beating them.

Best fans at the Hall would have to be Sunderland - It's a fair trip down, and on their run...

Even so they hadn't won a game in god knows how long. not a lot of other clubs would have had that many fans there if they were in the same suitation!

Oh I quite agree. They really were a good bunch, although they'd have to be given their continual state of flux between the bottom of the Premiership and the Championship
