Can't see either happening to be honest. Paul Benson had a move to Swindon fall through in the last window because of time elapsed paperwork, and Yannick Boli is on trial at QPR . That said, stranger things etc...

Would love to get Boli, wanted him first time round and said it was a mistake at the time not to get him, Benson would be ok but not so bothered with him. I think Boli's pace would be a big benefit to the team.

Sturrock said he didn't sign him because he didn't want to upset the team morale (or something similar to those words), and that was when we were on our unbeaten run with a dream of Wembley still in our minds. If he meant that he didn't want to introduce a player into a team that had gathered momentum, then I think we should give him another try, but if he would distrupt the squad in another way, i.e. thinks he is better than he is, then I think we should forget about him.

Would love Boli at the club. He is an out an out goal scorer. He would do wonders. I can understand Sturrock not wanting him at the time of our good run, BUT he would be a very good signing. Having him and Hall would get us so many goals (In my opinion). I know there will be some people that disagree, but I can only see positives by signing Boli.

As much as signing Boli would be a great idea, do you honestly believe he would come back to us, after Sturrock said that he wasn't needed at the time?
I personally thought it was a huge mistake letting him go!

He has 9 career goals, what makes you think he's and out and out goalscorer? I've not seen him so can only comment on the stats?

How can you say it wont be Paul Benson the only people in the no at this time is PS TB RM and the agents and players that we are linked to and nothing will get revaled until Jan so its going to be a guessing game for the next 6/7 days so lets just wait and see what develops
