Well you don't know, do you. Does the extension mean he ain't good enough, but PB is worried he won't get anyone else. Or does it mean he's a nailed on signing, but we can't do it now for whatever reason so need to wait a week? Your guess is as good as mine.

Its says Ben Cokers trial has been extended by Phil Brown, maybe just maybe thats all it is an extension ,so PB can have a further look at him.

if cokers twitter is anything to go by, he was expecting a decision on the night of the braintree game. im not sure extending his trial was quite the decision he was expecting.

He has probably been told he is wanted but signing can't be completed just yet! (this is what happens at Southend we need to get used to it).
