BBC East on Friday

My Father saw good piece on Southend on BBC East on Friday, with interviews with Sturrock and even Ron Martin making an appearance (the stadium will be started in the new year, allegedly).

However I can't find it on iPlayer or the bbc web site. Does anyone have a copy of it they can post?

Yep watch that. I have to say though RM looked ill. He was very pale and gaunt looking but used the interview talking about the stadium

Back in the old days they would have let us all go over to Fossets with our spades and we could have started the damn thing for them. Who's in ?

BTW saw RM and the lady wife pull into the car park at 2.55pm yesterday ? Isnt he supposed to be there earlier to greet their chairman etc ? Or is it not his duty anymore ?

Did he happen to mention what new year?

Not that the start date means anything, its the finish date that matters....Oxford started to build there stadium in 1996 it wasn't finished until 2001.......just saying..

Up here in Norfolk I saw it and it also had an interview with Kane. Luggy told of his first training session last year when 5 players said they were leaving, thus giving him a squad of 4 to work with! As to a copy, why not try the Look East BBC office in Norwich? tel 01603 619331

Quite, and that was the appropriate response to the Ox fans who were slagging off our ground yesterday. At least The Hall has 4 stands rather than a void at one end.
