I'm playing the side that came down from III at the end of last season. Can't see that I'm going to beat them, so have TIE'd to save myself for Sunday's Cup Game.

End of Over 10: 47-2, runrate=4.70
Perry 5-2-17-1
Raziuddin* 29 (33 balls)
Tselane 10 (14 balls)

Last Wicket: Walcott lbw b. Perry 5 (FOW: 12/2)

Tselane is my star trainee, possible WI under-19, and it's about time he got some decent runs

Playing the team that finished 3rd last year (we finished 2nd), probably my main opposition for the title this season.

They're batting, we managed to restrict them to 1 run from the first three overs and they've been pretty slow since. The opening bowlers didn't threaten a wicket but then the second set came in:

11.1 W Sajjad to Ryan
Ryan has a backlift like an octopus falling out of a tree; all over the place. No wonder it's gone straight through him. Clean bowled.

End of Over 11: 33-1, runrate=3.00
Mccoy 1-0-5-1
Ryan* 25 (39 balls)
Boyce 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Mirfin c. Maymann b. Mccoy 7 (FOW: 33/1)

10.6 W Mccoy to Mirfin
OUT! A huge mistimed pull shot, the ball balloons in the air and Maymann takes an easy catch straight down his throat.

Playing the team that finished out on promotion to III last year and they have made an o.k start and they were 43-1 off 11 ...

Like B, playing the team that finished third and are one of the opposition who could seriously challenge for the title, especially with Ballard, their England U-19 spinner.

End of Over 21: 111-2, runrate=5.29
Richardson 4-0-24-1
Stone* 9 (13 balls)
Tunnicliffe 41 (36 balls)

Last Wicket: Riddell c. Connell b. Richardson 52 (FOW: 88/2)

Doing about as well as can be expected really

End of Over 25: 99-3, runrate=3.96
Boulton 3-0-8-0
Stannage* 30 (44 balls)
Tselane 28 (53 balls)

I've set my pitch to Slow to try and counteract his Strong top order, it's going to be interesting to see how it works out. I've done it once before in a Friendly and it worked OK

Another wicket falls, they've got plenty of batting to come though and my batsmen seem to have become averse to green pitches lately....

End of Over 28: 97-3, runrate=3.46
San 9-3-28-1
Janes* 34 (51 balls)
Harrad 5 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Boyce c. Askew b. San 23 (FOW: 83/3)

Playin the team that finished 3rd last season (i came 2nd) they were better than me 3 seasons ago, but i caned them last season, seems they've taken a step back up tho, they are currently 180-2 off 32 overs. Need wickets and fast

they're 200-2 off 39 overs. This is annoying, not since the 3rd round of the cup last season have i failed to bowl out the opposition in a competative match

End of Over 41: 190-6, runrate=4.63
Bradford 6-0-38-1
Tunnicliffe* 94 (85 balls)
Cort 2 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Archibald c. Flood b. Bradford 6 (FOW: 186/6)

End of Over 44: 151-10, runrate=3.43
Gurney 7-0-28-2
Rosenior* 19 (33 balls)

Last 7 wickets fell for 35, almost mid-90's Englandish

Hardly unexpected

Phew, almost lost my record of bowling all comers out.

They were 277-3 with 47 overs gone

They finished 286 all out on 49.5 overs... now why couldnt they have done that 5 over earlier as up until them wickets, with that same two bowlers, over 41-46 were a run fest!

End of Over 50: 263-7, runrate=5.26
Rincon-hanna 10-0-47-1
Tunnicliffe* 124 (102 balls)
Marsh 39 (30 balls)

Last Wicket: Cort c. Connell b. Bradford 6 (FOW: 204/7)

They are now 17-1

3.4 W Lyth to Felice
Smacked the ball straight into the groin of Findlay who has fallen over, miraculously with the ball still caught in his scrotal area! Out!

OUCH

I'm getting a good going over

End of Over 17: 106-0, runrate=6.24, reqrunrate=1.39 (151-10)
Everard 2-0-11-0
Mayers* 59 (61 balls)
Hume 45 (42 balls)
