Another meaningless step on my 14 game romp to the title, only question is going to be how much I improve my NRR by..... (obviously this all said with tongue firmly in cheek, just in case we come a cropper

)

Lost the toss, but thankfully they decided to field first

Tenterden CC won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Hard and Fast

End of Over 22: 139-1, runrate=6.32
Whitman 1-0-13-0
Alexis* 53 (53 balls)
Mutasa 63 (66 balls)

Last Wicket: Raziuddin Run Out 18 (FOW: 23/1)

Managed to select my batsman Holsgrove as a bowler again! Luckily he's not going for too much as he's a spinner (albeit an abysmal one) on a dusty pitch.

End of Over 26: 125-3, runrate=4.81
Mccoy 3-0-7-1
Cooper* 4 (7 balls)
Charlton 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Pye b. Sajjad 52 (FOW: 122/3)

Should be a good match, 2nd Vs 3rd, they have a England U-19 bowler with a BTR of over 90,000, we don't. Decided to field.

End of Over 30: 170-3, runrate=5.67
Malik 5-0-18-0
Tunnicliffe* 94 (90 balls)
Hulbert 30 (46 balls)

Not taking wickets but we have a stranglehold on their run rate. Only 3 more overs for Holsgrove to bowl thankfully!

End of Over 35: 152-3, runrate=4.34
Mccoy 6-0-11-1
Charlton* 7 (22 balls)
Cooper 22 (40 balls)

Last Wicket: Pye b. Sajjad 52 (FOW: 122/3)

Need more wickets...

End of Over 39: 220-3, runrate=5.64
Malik 8-0-28-0
Hulbert* 56 (79 balls)
Tunnicliffe 114 (112 balls)

Last Wicket: Stone c. Sugden b. Rincon-hanna 17 (FOW: 71/3)

im playing top place, and im GFI!!!

They batted first and i dismissed them for 230, which im very happy with, especially as i skittled there top batsman who averages 200 for a measly 14. Sadly there other opener got 80, cops other than that none of em made 50!

Cmon N-Trance shire!!!

End of Over 50: 333-4, runrate=6.66
Chris 10-0-67-0
Alexis* 158 (141 balls)
Giddings 24 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Steggles c. Challinor b. Bainbridge 6 (FOW: 278/4)

Playing a newbie as the team above me dropped out made 355-3 off my 50 he is currently 38-3 off 8

Damn

End of Over 17: 82-1, runrate=4.82, reqrunrate=4.97 (245-10)
Ballard 9-1-20-1
Flood* 35 (56 balls)
Sugden 1 (4 balls)

Got nigh on 300. After my new 17yo played a friendly and opened and was not out i decided to start him in the same place again and did exactly the same, but he was out with 2 balls left. Titterton hit a quickfire 90 from 65 balls and then bowled them out for 53 with Jackman & Thompson getting 3 each against the team 2nd in the league.

Hit 20555 so about £140K in reciepts too ...

Won by 8 wickets, moves me up to 2nd on NRR as I think the leaders will win. Sold out the ground and got 21,000 so will upgrade soon maybe.

At home and the bowlers are doing very well,

End of Over 33: 158-2, runrate=4.79
Richardson 7-0-33-0
Harriot* 25 (31 balls)
Wrigley 9 (16 balls)

The team in first has a tough game against the team in third so will go top if they lose.

Lost a couple of wickets early on but we're ok now, if a little slow. Promoted San from 8 to opener and he's doing well:

End of Over 35: 171-2, runrate=4.89
Baumforth 6-1-19-0
Firth* 40 (71 balls)
San 73 (89 balls)

Last Wicket: Longthorn b. Cooke 15 (FOW: 72/2)

Home to the 3rd side dont expect to win made 214-7 off my 50 just hope my bowlers can do ok and get a few wickets befor they make 215 at least it helps muse by keeping their RR down by me batting first.

Made 286-3, oppo are 111-2 after 22 overs. This game hinges on my spinner's performance - he got a wicket in his first over.
