My match has finally appeared and we have our opponents at 108-4 thanks to a burst of 3-5 from our strike bowler (who so far has been cack for us!).

EDIT: 110-5, my ultra defensive spinner picks up a wicket, 1-16 off 7 overs.

End of Over 34: 154-3, runrate=4.53

Against a team on the same points as me, so it's a big match. Uneven pitch, so what they have seems decent so far

129-6 from 35. Our policy of bowling defensively is paying off. Their opener is still there though.

186-6 off 39 overs. I'd got off to a flyer and was 66-1 off 11, so not too pleased about that.

Will be interesting to see how my seamers fare on a green wicket.

Am 200-4 with 9 left. I'll either get 220 or about 280 odd depending if the current 2 stay in.

Got a competent yoot batter promoted as well ....

Won the toss and elected to bat 1st:

End of Over 42: 246-4, runrate=5.86

Should be able to push that up to more than 6 an over. The pitch is cracked but i only have 2 seam bowlers.

202 all out. Bugger.

My seamers are going to have to take some early wickets.

End of Over 46: 263-2, runrate=5.72

Not bad, hoping for near 300 runs, then wait for my bowlers do all they can to lose this match.

256-5 with 2 overs left.

When I said quick, I was sort out hoping that I would get wickets with my first, sixth and eighth balls of the opposition's reply.

However the team top of the table have already wrapped up the title, after bowling out the bottom team for 51. Next week is no longer going to be a title decider. Got to say I'm ruing the collapse from 235-3 when chasing 270 to win, when I played him last time.

Edit: Now 14-4

Just looked and put on 148 (28 overs) for my first partnership so dissapointed with my 271-5. Luckily Titterton chipped in with 59 from 50 at the end so set a half decent total ...

BA hope you win it today mate, your team have kicked *** in our league. You still need to keep winning to move up the promotion table, who you playing against today?
