Battrick Youth Players

mcrabb

First XI
Has anyone had any luck with the new youth player system on Battrick?

I read that you got a certain number of training slots to allocate to a youth player dependent on age, investment and the level of your youth setup.

I currently have a Strong youth setup and am paying the full investment (£20K per week). After a week I seem to have managed to collect only 16 training allocations (for a 17yo). I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that you could expect about 34 a week, although that was for the top youth setup (Superb). It seems strange having it one level down would make that much difference.

In the end I got impatient and decided to promote the guy with only 16 allocated sessions. Predictably he was rubbish, with his top stat being feeble bowling.

Mine is superb and I'm getting 10 per week. Haven't used any yet which I'm glad as my base pulls have been rubbish.

The 36 (not 34) is the maximum number of sessions you can allocate to a 17yo once you've saved them up. If you look at the rules under youth academy it shows you all the info. I may wait until I have 50 and pull a 20 yo as I don't really need a trainee at the moment.

I did very well, pulled this guy after using 20 ITS' - 10 batting and 10 bowling
