Battrick - hints

mcrabb

First XI
I've finally been given a Battrick team - Crabbys Catchers. I was just wondering if there are any hints or tips that anyone could give - any wise words from those that have been playing for a season already. It looks quite like hattrick, but I assume there are some specifics that aren't obvious. How does training work etc.? What are the best stats to look for etc.

Any help would be appreciated, before I squander all my money on a 17yo with abysmal stats.

Quite valuable to get your stadium sorted, the balance is 45/40/10/5 from standing to VIP or thereabouts. Training wise, it's really not worth training players over 21 as it appears to take an age. Though if you have a particularly good player you can give them multiple training slots. Probably worth selling anyone half decent over 21 and replacing them with younger versions who you can train. That's what I did and I now have a team made up almost entirely of 18 yo's.

have a look at your best bowlers, if 2-3 of them are spinners have a dusty wicket, alternatively 5 seamers should have a green wicket. Get 2 or 3 psychs, as concentration (for batting) and consistancy (for bowling) is almost as crucial as the batting/bowling skill. Remember you can only have 10 coaches of any kind (dont make the same mistake as me and think it's of each type of coach).

That's all I can think of for now, good luck mate

Also, am I the only one who's been able to make 2 youth pulls this week?
