In the first Semi-Final we see a Titanic battle between.

Noooooooo - this is an awful choice. It means it has to be a lager and a beer in the final though, so at least that's something.

I think, on balance, I just edge slightly towards the Pride - sorry BA.
 
I wrote them down on 4 pieces of paper and did the draw ...just the way it has panned out I guess.
 
Awful draw, but I guessed it was meant to be this way. We'll have the lager & ale boys voting for their favoured type beer regardless of whether its any good!

Hobgoblin for me, as Pride is bland & probably the worst ale in the entire competition. When you consider the ales that have gone out earlier, e.g. Bishops Finger, Deuchars, spring readily to mind. It just shows if you have a good draw you can go far. I didn't expect to get a French lager this far!
 
As i've said many times, i'm a lager lout so don't drink this stuff (i'm not gonna slag these to the ground though, like many have EVERY time a lager is in the vote :zzzzz: ) .. i'm just gonna vote METAL !!!!!!
 
I went for the Goblin this time around. After second thoughts from the heats - I imagine a small goblin man on the top of the bottle would be quite cute.
 
I knew i was gonna get drawn against Scott!

I've managed to beat 2 ales so far (just mind you!) not looking too good at the moment in this one.

COME ON PEOPLE its all about the Goblin!!
 
Hutton's "London Pride" is into the Final .....second Semi-Final coming up.
