You call him a killer. He's a professional fighter, not a killer. We are getting death threats. We are not involved in politics. All I want is for my husband to be safe, and to be treated fairly. You have this belief that you are better than us. You have this belief that this country is so very good and we are so very bad. You have this belief that you are so fair and we are so very cruel.

Yeah....

Hmmmmmmm

I love Ghostbusters. So it's very difficult for me to criticise it. It's a very 80s film too so I can't even claim a win on a technicality. That said, I still feel that Rocky IV is the ultimate 80s film ever made. It ticks every box that you could look for, it's a bloody enjoyable movie in it's own right, it's good vs evil, it's the West vs the East. It's quotable, it's got an awesome soundtrack... it's just Rocky.

Very tough choice, as it should be at this stage. But the Rocky IV Soundtrack is just soooo 80's.

Edit - Sorry James :'(

Hearts on fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirreeeeee
Strong deeeeeeeeeeeesssiiiiiiiiiiiirrreeeeeee
Rages deep within!

Dr. Peter Venkman: [as the Ghostbusters approach Gozer] Grab your stick!
[the Ghostbusters draw their handsets]
Dr Ray Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore: HOLDIN'!
Dr. Peter Venkman: Heat 'em up!
[they arm their packs]
Dr Ray Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore: SMOKIN'!
Dr. Peter Venkman: Make 'em hard!
[they rack their handsets]
Dr Ray Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore: READY!
Dr. Peter Venkman: Let's show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown... THROW IT!

Ludmilla: No, Ivan is naturally trained.
Interviewer: Then how do you account for his... freakish strength?
Ludmilla: Like your Popeye. He ate his spinach every day.

Winston Zeddemore: Hey, wait a minute. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Hold it! Now, are we actually gonna go before a federal judge, and tell him that some moldy Babylonian god is going to drop in on Central Park West, and start tearing up the city?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Sumerian, not Babylonian.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Yeah. Big difference.
Winston Zeddemore: No offense, guys, but I've gotta get my own lawyer.

Apollo: We always have to be in the middle of the action 'cause we're the warriors. And without some challenge, without some damn war to fight then the warriors might as well be dead, Stallion. Now I'm asking you - as a friend - stand by my side this one last time.

Dr. Peter Venkman: We've been going about this all wrong. This Mr. Stay Puft's okay! He's a sailor, he's in New York; we get this guy laid, we won't have any trouble!

I love that line. Bill Murray gets some classic dialogue in that film.

Nicoli Koloff: Whatever he hits, he destroys.

Rocky IV is teh nuts of a film , i defy anyone not to wanna get up after watching that film and do a bit of shadow boxing !!

Given my old man a few digs in the ribs as a kid after watching that Film ......think it used to put him on edge everytime he heard that Heart on Fire song !!

This just scream 80s, which is what this thing is all about.

Ghostbusters can't compete with Rocky IV for an 80s soundtrack, I'm afraid.

Does the crowd understand?
Is it East versus West.... or man against man?
Can any nation stand.... alone?

In the burning heart.... just about to burst
There's a quest for answers an unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night, rising like a spire
In the burning heart the unmistakeable fire, in the burning heart.

It's not looking good for Rocky but it never did throughout any of the films. He'd constantly be knocked down but would get back up to be hit again.

C'mon Rock, you can do this. You're a greasy, fast, 200 pound Italian Tank. ROLL OVER 'EM!

Is it possibly because Rocky was over-sentimental, US beats the rest of the world crap d'ya think ? :p
