Barry transfer off ?

Flicking through the tv channels i see Villa are playing in the Uefa cup tonight and a certain Gareth Barry seems to have started the match. Now surely this will finish any chance of him signing for Liverpool.

Though the way Liverpool played last night, Him being cup tied won't be an issue if they put in as poor a performance in the 2nd leg.

Lets face it this summer has been a pre season of big transfers that didn't happen!!

Drogba to Inter
Ronaldo to Real Madrid
Barry to Liverpool

Ok the window hasn't closed yet but I can't see any of these happening and if any do I will eat my laptop ;)

Adebayor has signed a new contract at Arsenal so I hopefully won't be eating my laptop.
