One more year for AB?

Of course. He was immense yesterday. Attacked every ball like his life depended on it. He only said it was his last season because he wasn't playing. But he got back in the team due to injuries and he's been absolutely brilliant. He still has one more great season in those legs.

I think you need to watch the whole match again and realise it would be a season too far. What a way to retire and thanks for the inspiration, drive and enthusiasm. You made a MASSIVE difference over the last two months but it is time to retire with some pride. Stay with the game at Chelmsford or Braintree.

Would like him to stay, he's slowing down, but what an inspirational player. We needs him at the club, player, coaching staff ....Future manager !

I've gone for 'yes' after the last few performances. He will have a few mares next season but the good ones will outweigh the bad. He is also critical to Bolger's development currently.

For our sake, yes. He's good back up at League 1 level and brings experience to a relatively young squad.

For his sake, no. He won't be starting too many games I'd imagine and would expect centre back to be one of Phil's priorities for new signings, he'd be better off to go out on top and get involved in coaching.

If AB isn't "good enough" for Div 1, and he is the BEST centre (left) back we have does that also mean in any squad clear out that others for that position also depart?
I would keep Adam, depending on his pay/play contract and also try to get him doing other work such as coaching/assisting with some of the youth squads.
