If i can drag a mate along wouldnt mind going to Oakwell but other than driving whats the cheapest way of getting there?
 
Trains were dirt cheap - I got six of from London-Barnesly and back for just £22 each. I expect that deal has gone now though.

I may have one spare ticket on the train and your mate could buy a normal and split the cost if that helps. Need to check as had a mate drop out I think.

Coach is always fair price with supporters club but is such a boring way to travel.
 
Just out of interest where did you get those £22 tickets so i can check if it def has gone?
 
Just checked for you. They are going for around £24 now. (Two singles) This does however, mean departing Barnsley at 6.48. Im still undecided whether to drive or get the train so I'm making reguar visits to the following page:

I called Midland Mainline.....sorry dont have number but got it from National Rail Enquires....I saw the 6.48 but there is one a 5.58 or something like that but that might have gone.
