Is there any reason stopping Lee to play tonight?

Or do we just have to put up with a Black and Hooper attack again?

As for the defense well selling Riccahrds was a mistake, now we are short on Defenders if either AB or Clarke get injuried or suspended.

Put up with!? We've scored 7 in 2 away games with them up top! The problem lies at the other end.

I Will put up with it, and yeah your right but Tilly needs to row some balls and say to either AB or Clarke ypur dropped tonight, i dont care if Zoltan plays tonight i just dont want to see AB and Clarke together at the back.

You cant just put someone in because you want something different.

Any player needs to earn his right to play and show he can be better than the two in the first team.

Liptack has done nothing to show he deserves to play.

Because that's what being a Southend fan is all about, saying we should sign a partner for Hooper after he had one decent game and scored a goal, constantly bringing up what a mistake it was to let Kightly go, not giving Billy Paynter a chance to settle into the team last season etc. etc.

I haven't got a clue what the guy is like but obviously Tilly does so if he thinks he is ready to step upto the first team thats down to him.

I can only assume that you havent been at the last two games! Both defences were shocking and whilst the defending at Hartlepool was awful, if we had someone to hold the ball up top, we would not have been under such pressure at the back and probably would have scored more too. Both our late goals at Hartlepool were scored because they got the jitters having not won for seven games, we will not liley get such easy chances tonight.

I think Barnard will play, most probably with Hooper but I think I would be tempted to play Black as he has scored two in two

Tilly obviously does know what he is like,thats why he has been nowhere near the first team.

For me the question is how much training has he done with them, and is he fit, as I thought he was carrying a slight injury. Probably best to at least start Hoops and Black tonight then bring him on.
