Barker out for 3 weeks

Can't see another thread on this elsewhere but PS mentioned in his post match interview last night that Chris Barker has a grade 1 tear in his groin and is likely to be out for 3 weeks. Massive blow as we've got a really tough few weeks ahead fixtures-wise.

No way, how many players do you want us to carry?! We have got mohsni, phillips, barker, prosser and coughlan that can play cb and Gilbert played there pre season and looked ok by all accounts. With Leonard and clohessey making up the rest of the defensive cover, that is more than enough for a club our size.

Just what we need at the start of the season, our captain and best defender out. And Coughlan looked shaky last night. Hopefully Phillips is alright. On the positive side, Prosser was excellent again last night so we could always move him back to centre-back and play Gilbert.

I've only seen Kane play there for about half an hour, but Grant was a damn-sight more impressive when he played CB than Kane was.

As a central defender, Kane is playing out of his normal position in midfield so with him, Coughlan, Mohsni and Prosser, plus Leonard and Gilbert around I don't think we should be bemoaning our lack of defensive cover.
