Away Games By Train

DoDTS

The PL League Boss⭐⭐🦐
On Friday it made an interesting read who was going to Crewe by train and how much they had paid. Basically as I understand it,i f you booked in February £16 in March £33 and on the day £64.

Now it seems to me that this is vital information that needs to be passed on at the time, If your booking in January and getting a bargain price then pass it on and let others know and also what train your going on.

I know many will say I can't afford it February, but if you can't afford £16 in Feb you've got no chance at £64 on the day. Footbal is no longer "lets decide on the day", it has to be planned in advance, usually match tickets bought in advance and travel thought about early.

Clearly if you leave it late you will pay TOP price.

Now the point of all this is that I feel we need to get organised for next season, this club has moved on, the support grown home and away and we need to react to it.

As soon as the fixture list comes out we need to find the times and prices of the early trips and POST them on SZ etc. I feel that we need an ongoing thread for each match where people can see what prices are available and what trains people are going on?

What do others think?

I personally think that it helps if someone finds a good deal if they let everyone else know.

Bobby Evans (RIP) used to do this on the site and I lost track of the amount of good deals he found.

Good Idea

Sounds like a great idea, Perhaps we can have an Away Travel Seperate Forum just for that purpose.
