When we moved to the new board, we emailed everyone new passwords so that you could log in to the new system with your new accounts.
However, it has become clear from the literally hundreds of failure notices that I'm now getting as the timeout attempts function kick in, that these kind of generic emails from websites get blocked by AOL.
ALL OF YOU WITH AOL ACCOUNTS WILL THEREFORE NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE EMAIL FROM US.
Where many of you have emailed me via the 'help' function, and I have replied, my replies are also getting bounced. This means that your new passwords are not getting through to you.
PLEASE CAN YOU ALL (who havent yet successfully been able to log in) SEND ME A MESSAGE THROUGH THE 'HELP' FUNCTION OR TO steve@shrimperzone.com GIVING ME YOUR USERNAME AND AN ALTERNATIVE EMAIL ADDRESS FOR ME TO SEND YOU YOUR PASSWORD.
You will need to change your registered email address the first time you log in successfully, to ensure that you get future emails from ShrimperZone.
Apologies for the inconvenience - please feel free to complain to AOL, as after investigation I have found that ShrimperZone is not alone in having this problem - it is a common problem which means that any website or company with which you interact online will not be able to communicate with you.
