Mr. McScriven, I know this is not entirely your affair but Southend United certainly should do something about it. I listened to the match on Blues World just like many others. Yet again the transmission was appalling and completely disappeared several times. Blues World is on the official club site and promoted by the club. Why have I spent so much money over the seasons for such a second rate service?. No doubt my mood is black due to todays results but something must be done. I feel nothing less than conned. I would be truly grateful if you would press for some improvement and get the club to acknowledge they have a responsibility to the fans to get the problems sorted. Cheers mate.

Now is your chance NOT to renew your subscription for next season. I know it's tough for the exiles but you simply can't put up with this pathetic standard of service for much longer (and thanks to an anonymous colleague I have been able to sample myself how poor the service actually is). The club fobs you all off with excuses about how they will pass on the comments but so long as FLPTV get your money they will not give a monkey's arse about the football fan. So, just don't subscribe next time. The club have been told time and time and time again (and even ShrimperZone ran a feature LAST season) so it's not as if they haven't been warned ...

Unfortunately Mike I think the exiled Blues World subscribers are like heroin addicts, I think they will not be able to resist one more hit and will be left the shakes on Saturday afternoons if they try and go cold turkey.

As only one company has the media rights it always means they can consistently provide a crap service without fear of competition from a rival company. I did send the Football League a snotty email about FLPTV after the whole debacle with the suits getting heavy over my links but they refused to discuss the length of FLPTV's contract with me.

I'm sure the FL have realised they've completely f**ked up on this contract. FLPTV clearly have no regard for the football fan. Most of their links on the official sites (over which, I believe, Scriv has little control) are about fleecing even more money out of fans and relying on the misguided belief that Southend United would benefit from our sheep-like desire to click on them. I don't think I've seen any conclusive proof that anyone other than FLPTV have benefited financially from this contract. Scriv and the club can bleat until they are blue in the face that the club does benefit but until I see some proof in black-and-white I fancy that it's total b******s. Give football back to the fans ... let Southend United run their OWN official site!!
