Attendance for the LDV

I think the Club should open the whole ground, and make it kid a quid and us grown ups £8. We need a bumper crowd to roar on the mighty shrimpers whoever we play.

My prediction is Adults £10, Kids £5. With only the East stand open until that reaches capacity and then the rest squeeze into the south stand

well considering the east was full for the shrewsbury game in the previous round the club would be stupid not to open at least two stands.

If we drew Orient at home, I am pretty certain they would open the whole ground, but if we got Swindon or Bristol Rovers, I think the West would be shut.

I'd have to agree with you there. If we were to be drawn at home, no matter which of the 3 teams we got, there would be enough interest for the Club to open the whole ground.

I reckon Borient would command the biggest crowd but I could see Swindon bringing a few fans if it was them.

The lowest crowd would probably be against Brizzle R but that would only be down to the away support - I'm sure there'd be plenty of Blues fans.

Actually, even though anyone at home would have to be acceptable, I hope we avoid Swindon & leave someone else to knock them out!

Wouldn't it be great to play Borient in the Area Final, beat them, then on to Cardiff once more!

I think beating Col U at Layer Road in the first round and Orient in two legs would just be a bit too fortunate. WIll be amazing if it works out like that.

Judging by the superb away representation last night, I reckon we'd get a decent home crowd against anyone at thei stage.

If this tournament really was regionalised, Swindon would play Bristol and we'd get Orient so that you wouldn't have to travel far for a 1 legged away match but there you go.

There are several possible permutations here, but I don't consider any of them to be much of an obstacle for the way we approach matches in the LDV. I would like to see the draw to be Bristol Rovers v Leyton Orient and Southend v Swindon.

If that happens, I am sure we will get Orient in the area final and that'll work out nicely for everyone.

Bring it on!

We had Swindon in an area semi-final in the 2000/2001 season didn't we? Seem to remember Leo Roget scoring a golden goal!

We certainly did! What a memory

When I'm old and grey, that'll probably be one of my most vivid memories of Leo

If you do get drawn away, you'd better ring the dlub you're playing early to warn them about the 2-3,000 visiting fans they should be expecting.

Well the Northampton lot seemed quite surprised by the 500 or so Shrimpers last night.

The last team to beat us (in the Southern section) was Swindon. I can us getting them again and losing again.
