Atmosphere last night!

simac21

Coach
Was disappointed that a small section of youngsters behind me were slagging off our own fans!
It's people like them that make people argue amonst our own set of fans!

singing stuff like our support is f**king **** etc isnt getting behind the team!

dont know if these youngsters are part of the blues voice i really hope they aint as i find people singing songs bout a own fans as very childish!

i know ill probably get stick for saying this but last night shrimperzone's favourite players were terrible! Flahavan and Gower!
Cant see why collis got dropped in the first place!

Here we go again .............I would of thought as is normal they sing to the other team .your support is fi'ng ****..Maybe they don't know the words?

It is beyond me why everything that is chanted anti team etc ( If that was the case) is planted at the feet of The Blue Voice.....All supporters that sing up and support our team are part of The Blue Voice . Can we please stop this crap of passing blame ....they pay there monies .they are free to sing / do as they wish ..

Atmosphere was o.k. in the first half but there was little to cheer about in the second half!

As for Millwall when they actually sung it was quite loud, much much louder than us at Roots Hall. But they needed all those stragglers either side of the away end to go up the other end & join in with the singing rather than shouting abuse at the away fans all the time, then they would have been even louder. This is why when/if we get our new ground, the singing section needs to be at the opposite end to the away fans rather than either side of them.

Top post. The Blue Voice is there to back the team and we are all like-minded individuals in doing that. Just because there are a few negative people that sit in the Blue Voice section at Roots Hall doesn't mean they have anything to do with the Blue Voice. Similarly, there is no reason to believe that those tw*ts last night are part of The Blue Voice. In fact we can all be part of TBV if we get behind the team.

They were singing our support is ****ing **** and there was a lad in a black baseball cap and stone island coat up the top that Scott took a dislike to. Think it was those guys?

Which is why Scott is on TBV Committee.

Have to be honest a few things surprised me last night. The first was that i had to que for about 5 mins as there was no space .When we went over to the other side i was thinking great we are stuck over here with hardly any fans, but to my surprise we actually made more noise than the large contigent (or atleast i thought). The other things that struck me was how empty and depressing it is to see a stadium of that size with only 7500 people in it, (low for a derby game?)and how we could soon be in the same position. The thing that struck me most was that when millwall did sing it sounded awesome, and if that can be achieved with 7500 then there is definate hope for us when we move grounds. Hardly any trouble other than gobby kids , but we parked in the industrial site over the back and with us coming from the other direction we stuck out like a **** at a lesbian love fest. Going down the stairs to the industrial site bought back shades of ID , Football Factory and every other cliched millwall based movie. I was glad to get away and home safe and sound.

Indeed most of the west was with me at the back and they all rallied last night I know some people up there can be critical when times have been tough but everybody pulled together against this fool, who after a shouting to **** himself and no more bad chants!

Well done lads

BEHIND THE BOYS PLAY UP!

Can't have been as annoying as the idiot behind us who spent the entire half shouting 'waaaaannnnkaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh', 'take him aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaht' or 'faaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhl him' at the top of his voice - I was quite surprised by the suggestion that we should foul one of their attackers in our penalty area, as this is clearly counter-productive

When the fans at the back of the West Stand (the ones that are NOTHING to do with The Blue Voice!!) were chanting f*** off Gower on Saturday, I heard the drum banging along.

Now don't get me wrong I think TBV is a good idea but if they are going to take the credit when they drum up the support using the drum they have got to take some stick when it joins in with anti-SUFC chants.

Er I think the drumming was probably trying to drown out the negative chants!
