Having looked through my squad, I've realised that in spite of me attempting to set up a training regime, I've not got any playmakers who look like I will be able to either improve dramatically or sell on. As a result, I'm considering whether or not to change my training regime.

I actually have a couple of decent young defenders but I'm reluctant to start defender training because it seems too negative.

As much as I would like to think that training goalkeepers would successfully open a niche, I think this is a lie and would just mean I have a bad team bar the 'keeper.

Still, although I know that most people suggest training playmaking is best in the lower leagues, I'm open to suggestions here. I can't help thinking that by doing striker training, on average, there will be more goals in my games and I will probably get better gates.

What do we think?

Striker training will only help you score lots of goals if your midfield is already creating lots of chances.

You'll probably get better gates from playmaking as if you win the midfield you still more often than not win the match. Just wait until each PM pops and then sell them and get younger trainees.
