Heard from a friend of mine who is friends with an Ipswich Town coach that A Lee-Barrett could be in between the sticks for us next season.......No ideas what he's like, never seen him play!
 
He has left Ipswich, but we have 3 goalkeepers fighting for a place so we could be seeing at least one of them leave IF this is true.
 
Ok keeper never really had a consistant run in there team prone to a error but which keeper isint would be a good keeper at this level. Any news on bentley and a contract?
 
Thought he was OK working alongside Alan Carr, but lost all respect for him following that domestic abuse court case.

Used to watch him quite often when he was no.2 at Weymouth. At the time thought he was pretty useless...was a few years ago but looks to be falling down the ladder after a few lucky moves up it!

.....also heard that we tried to get George Francomb....ex Norwich... but the 7 ton a week we offered him was politely turned down as he could earn nearly as much sweeping the streets!

Well blow me down! Wiggy in "I thought he was useless" goalkeeper shock! :hilarious:

I pray to God we don't sign him, not because I think he's a bad keeper but if wiggy thinks he's useless already I can see it'll be a case of deja vu on here from 2013/14 onwards! :nope:
 
George Francomb would be a very decent signing for us, the few times I've seen him he's stood out would be a good replacement for Sean or even better good competition
