Anyone remember Francis's faking injury

people always say what would we be like if we had a plyer who dived to get a pen or whatever how would we feel.

well not exactly the same but who saw francis go down like he had been hit by a rocket then seconds later jump straight back up after their player said something to him.

imo dirty ******* for cheating and deserved the abuse he got. i got no place for that bollocks in our team.

can't stand dives and play acting like that!

Yeah that was the one instance where maybe one of our players should have been booked. Though he was fouled.

And also when Macca was trying to get on with the game and blatantly ran 15 yards to merely shove a Bees player off the ball to take the kick quicker, about 3 foot from the ref.

yeah exactly, my point is that there has been so many times this has happened against us but even when its one of our players its just as bad.

its boring all this slightest contact and going down like a 2 year old girl.

To be fair to Francis, he took a whack to his hip which he was still struggling with afterwards.

He obviously got upset about what their player said, but was clearly struggling afterwards.

so he jumped up. clearly not as hurt as he was making out then.

I didn't see this happen but I don't follow your logic either. How does jumping up in reaction to something that was said mean his pain disappeared or he wasn't hurt in the first place?

An exaggerated example of course, but if you fell in the road and broke your ankle, you'd probably sit where you were rubbing it and generally feeling sorry for yourself. If a car then rounded the corner and showed no signs of stopping, you'd probably shift yourself pretty sharpish - pain or no pain.

As I said though, I didn't see the incident. It just amazes me sometimes how people react to and judge these situations with no possible knowledge, before getting drawn into the pantomime.

Boooooooooooo! Ref!!!!

so he jumped up. clearly not as hurt as he was making out then.

Well he clearly was hurt as he was hobbling around for a good 5 minutes afterwards. He took a whack to it, so my guess is it was an impact injury which wears off after a certain amount of time.
