Just picked up this quote from facebook anyone know if theres any truth in this?

He hasn't seemed himself for a month or 2 now. I don't expect him to be here next season.

I wouldn't be taking rumours on Facebook as hard facts, however it sounds like a perfectly plausable conversation to have taken place. If wasn't being paid my wages I'd be asking my boss what was going on, wouldn't you?

All very sad though, any chance of a good news story to come out of Roots Hall this year? It's been a while since we had one!

Yep i've heard exactly the same thing, but not from FB, but from a respected (;)) source.

Apparently the two did have a blazing row, where Barrett said "you've ruined my club", to which Dr.Warchest fired back "if you don't like it, then **** off".

I know it happens all the time, Jimmy Bullard and Nick Barmby had to be pulled apart last month.


I don't think there's been too many times though were players have had to be pulled away from trying to deck the chairman!

If I was chairman of a club that had just been relegated to league two I wouldn't be making life too comfortable for the highest paid players.

I have heard this from a reliable source as well.
I can't really see that being said by Ron though!

I would imagine it would have been more like 'Listen Adam, don't worry everything is under control there is no need to worry, it is hard for us all, in a few years we will be at the stadium everything is under control'

There is not a chance that he said,
'Adam if you don't like it **** off'

No Chance!

TBH barrett is rumoured to be on 3k pw. And he hasnt been decent for some time.
His positioning isnt great he turns like an ocean liner and constantly fouls on the edge of the box i wouldnt be too bothered if barrett left in the summer he has been poor this season and certainly doesnt warrant 3k pw.
