Anyone have any interest in watching this? I had to play it through at work tonight to make sure everything was OK for the public shows tomorrow, and it is alright - watchable, but nothing to get overly excited about.

Not as good as the da Vinci code - Take that as a good or bad thing in your own book :D But seeing as though there is naff all out at the cinema at present, probably worth a peek if looking for something to do this weekend.

6.5/10

I know it's a load of rubbish in the eyes of a lot of people on here, but I enjoyed this book more than the Da Vinci Code so am looking forward to seeing the film. I don't go very often!

To be fair as a book A&D was better than the Da Vinci Code IMO, however I saw the ending an absolute mile off it was that obviously signposted. I also began to lose a bit of interest when our hero dropped out of a plane sans parachute to land in an obliging lake.

Brown has hit on a good idea with his books and is undoubtedly popular, and no doubt his much hyped new book will fly off the shelves when it is released.

Angles and Donuts is the most proposterous book I have EVER had the misfortune to read (due to being stuck at an Indian airport with no reading material), and I've read a fair bit of SF and fantasy.

Its a great book, but we will all have different opinions than that.

What i want to know is does the film stick to the book more than with the Da Vinci Code, or will grea chunks be missed again?

Who was responsible for the tags on this thread?! :stunned:

Uxbridge......I'm suspecting you may have had something to do with it!

I'll probably watch it on dvd rental but that's it.

Entertaining enough books, but alot of people treat them like they speak the TRUTH or something. They're novels, fiction, ie. made up.

It sometimes kick starts people to look into other ideas and histories etc so its not so bad . Lousey stories mind

Ahhh, they've disappeared now - and having a brain like a sieve I can't remember what they were! :thump:
