Andy Ford was a decent in both meanings of the word fullback at Southend for several seasons in the 70's. He had been manager at Gravesend for many years guided them to the Conference 2 -3 years ago. Until this season had kept them mid table but lately they had struggled so last week he left by mutual consent ie jumped before he was pushed. I hope he gets fixed up soon.
