No rest in SUEPA world, Next up event-wise we have Roy visiting Roots for the FGR match and then afterwards at the Essex County Bowls Club we have another one of our 'Evening With' events, this time with Red Card Roy himself,.
Many of you will have bought tickets already but a few are left so if you are interested the buy link is: HERE
Circa five years ago he appeared at the Palace Theatre which was great fun, but this will be different - a more cosy atmosphere awaits at the Bowls Club (if you've not been it really is a great little venue), some pizza thrown in (not literally thrown) PLUS the audience will include a sprinkling of his former teammates who I know have a few curvy questions to ask him ..... which we know he won't shy away from. Oh, and the beer is cheap (club prices), and we've got a bar extension. Plus a few more bits n pieces, some really top prizes secured for the raffle from MOTD, former players and so on, another top display and stall from Dave Shields, all profits go to help SUEPA causes (as you all know by now we like to help others in need), all hosted by the superb Glenn Pennyfather (if you've not yet seen him in action as a host you are in for a treat), and a very friendly welcome. Ask anyone who went to our previous 'evening with' events if they enjoyed it - we got some top feedback. It's just £20 a ticket, and that includes the pizza (not thrown).
As Roy says on the following message he's just sent us this evening, if you fancy a few laughs, then be there .......
